I have read the guide with interest and pride as my son has always had a great interest in plants from a small child. I became interested when my grandfather grew tomatoes with much success and watched my father take wallflower cuttings each year. Then as a young teenager I took over a large allotment during the war and learned the hard way picking up tips from the real experts. If only a manual like this had been available in those days it would have saved me much wasted time and effort. I lost all the first fuchsia that were given to me because I did not know about the pests that can destroy plants at any time so I recommend this book to you and wish you much success in the garden or greenhouse.
